About Brianna
Singer Songwriter, Brianna Rancour, writes and sings acoustic music inspired by jazz, folk and soul traditions. She was the vocalist for the Next Generation Jazz Orchestra and sang at the Montreal Jazz Festival in 2013. Along with songwriting, her passion is in jazz voice and instrumental composition.
When she's not writing songs and performing, you can find her biking all over Los Angeles, making short films, or analyzing Bach Chorales and jazz tunes
She is a founding member of the songwriting duo and band "Portman Two" with Mark Adam Mekailian, playing jazz, Alternative, R&B, Progressive Rock, and Folk influenced music. Based in Los Angeles, she encourages collaboration and production with other independent artists as well. She attends Azusa Pacific University for Commercial Music and attended LA County HS for the Arts for Jazz Voice.
